We offer consultations. In these 90 minute sessions we review your records and questionnaires, and conduct a clinical interview.
While these 90 minutes meetings and a computer-based assessment of attention on the Conners, CPTii (Continuous Performance Task) are generally sufficient to allow us to gather enough information to formulate a diagnosis of ADHD, when there are co-occurring conditions we may recommend require additional testing in order to make a diagnosis and treatment recommendation.
Child and Teen Consultations:We will interview one or both parents, with and without the child.
The time spent during consultations can be most effective if you send us copies of all pertinent records (report cards, other school records, medical records, copies of previous evaluations, work records, performance evaluations, etc.) for our review in advance of the consultation. If your or your child’s records are especially extensive, there may be an additional charge for our time to review them.
Following your consultation, we will provide a brief consultation summary responding to your concerns and making recommendations.
